Guided Overnight Hikes
Some of the most spectacular sights in this country cannot be seen day hiking. You've got to put on a backpack and sleep in a tent if you want to get to know this country. We will take you to the best spots, customizing a trip just for you. A couple of our favorites are listed below.
Coyote Gulch - Stevens Arch
Moderate to Strenuous. This hike can be easily tailored to your interests. We like to spend at least three days and two nights, but there is a lot to explore in the region and a trip up to five days can be accommodated. The hike includes a cross country approach to the upper Coyote Gulch and descends through the Gulch past Jacob Hamblin Arch. We will explore the lower sections of the Gulch and spend some time near the Escalante River. Crossing the river, we will explore the lower portion of Stevens Canyon including Stevens Arch. Our return will find us passing through the "Crack in the Wall" on Forty Mile Ridge.
Boulder Mail Trail
Moderate to Strenuous. We will spend three days and two nights exploring the historic Boulder Mail Trail. This hike includes extensive slick rock hiking and has some of the most breathtaking views of the area. We will move in and out of steep drainages and relive some of the history of the region. If you are an experienced backpacker and are looking for an exciting challenge, the Mail Trail may be for you.
